One practitioner, start to finish

The person who assesses your face is the person who treats it

Leah is the clinic. There is no rotating team and no one handing you over halfway. She has been treating the same clients for years — some of them since the clinic opened — which is only possible if the results are the kind you can live with every day.

  • Every treatment starts with an assessment of the whole face, not the one feature you came in about.
  • If a treatment is not right for you, you will be told so, and told why.
  • Numbing cream as standard, and as much time as you need before anything starts.
  • Aftercare instructions in writing, and a direct line if anything worries you afterwards.

Read this first if you are anxious

Nervous about needles?

It comes up in almost every consultation, and it is the single thing clients mention most often afterwards — that it was calmer, and less of an ordeal, than they had braced for.

  • Numbing cream goes on first, and you wait until it has properly worked. There is no rush at this stage.
  • You can book a consultation on its own and go home to think. Nothing is done on the day unless you ask for it.
  • Everything is explained before it happens, and you can stop at any point.
  • If you would rather ask your questions in writing first, message the clinic on WhatsApp.

How to start

The €50 consultation comes off your treatment

Thirty minutes, face to face, with no obligation to book anything. If you do go ahead with a treatment within two weeks, the €50 is taken off the price.

  1. 01 Assessment. Your face at rest and in movement, and what you would like to change about it.
  2. 02 A plan and a price. What is worth doing, in what order, and what it costs — including what to leave alone.
  3. 03 Your decision. Book on the day, take two weeks to think, or decide it is not for you.

Common questions

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is applied first and left long enough to work, which is the part most clients say made the difference. Most describe the sensation as pressure rather than pain. You can ask to stop at any point.

Will it look obvious?

The whole approach here is built against that. Filler is placed gradually, and where more than one session would give a better result, you will be advised to split it rather than do everything at once. If you ask for something that would look overdone, you will be told.

How long do results last?

It depends on the treatment and on you. Hyaluronic acid lip filler typically lasts six to twelve months; dermal filler in other areas often six to eighteen. Collagen-stimulating treatments build over weeks and can last considerably longer. Metabolism, lifestyle and the area treated all change the answer, which is why it is discussed at consultation rather than promised here.

Is there downtime?

Most clients go back to normal the same day. Swelling and small bruises are normal after injectables and settle over days rather than weeks. Filler is best left at least two weeks before a wedding or a big event, so that everything has settled.

Do I have to have treatment on the day I come in?

No. A consultation can be booked entirely on its own, and plenty of people do exactly that. Some treatments — PDO threads among them — require a separate consultation beforehand and cannot be booked on the day.

Where is the clinic and how do I get there?

23 Fitzwilliam Street Upper, Dublin 2 — a few minutes from St Stephen’s Green, in the Georgian block between Baggot Street and Merrion Square. Directions and opening hours.

Book a consultation, not a treatment

A €50 consultation is thirty minutes to look at your face, talk through what you actually want and hear what is realistic. If you go ahead with treatment within two weeks, the €50 comes off the price.
